The Master of Engineering and Technology Leadership (METL) at UC Santa Barbara is an interdisciplinary professional master's program combining advanced technical training with leadership, business, and technology management education. Every METL student builds a foundation in leadership and technology management coupled with technical expertise in one of four cutting-edge tracks. Four specialization tracks: AI and Machine Learning for Science and Technology; Quantum Information; Semiconductor Technology; Technology Management

All METL students complete leadership and technology management coursework taught by the Department of Technology Management, plus a technical specialization. The capstone may be completed online, at a company site, or during a summer residency at UCSB. 38 units total.
