The Online Experience
The University of Utah's online MEM combines the flexibility of online teaching with the engagement of traditional teaching. Students can study at their own pace while engaging with classmates and instructors through group assignments, discussion forums, and other interactive elements. The online program has one tuition rate with no out-of-state premium.

Specializations & Pathways
Concentrations: None (open elective structure; Graduate Certificate in Engineering Management (GCEM, 15 credits) embedded within the MEM degree)
30 credits total: 6 core classes plus electives chosen with the supervisory committee. Earn a B or better for core classes and B- or better for electives; maintain a 3.0+ graduate GPA. Up to 6 hours of transfer credit allowed from another institution.
